About the course
This course explores the future applications of Emotion AI. Currently, one of the most promising directions is the development of highly personalized, user-centric systems that consider users’ emotions, feelings, and moods. Moreover, it can be used to assist and support people with difficulties in communication or communicates in different fashion, such as neurodivergent people when interpreting others’ emotional cues or encourage healthier habits by tailoring feedback in an emotionally intelligent way. This course examines the emerging trends across emotion-driven design, long-term system personalization, digital therapy, assistive tools for neurodivergent individuals, and brain-computer interfaces. This course investigates the strategic, psychological, and design logic of Emotion AI while critically evaluating core challenges, such as the complex emotions and societal manipulation risks.
