Precision Viticulture

Welcome to the Precision Viticulture course, one of the specialised training programmes developed within the AGRI-DIGITAL GROWTH project through the collaboration of several project partners with expertise in viticulture, digital agriculture, and smart farming technologies. After completing this course, you will gain a comprehensive understanding of modern viticulture practices and how precision technologies support improved vineyard management, sustainability, and decision-making.

You will explore the fundamentals of vine biology, vineyard practices, and the principles of precision viticulture, including vineyard variability, remote sensing, sensors, monitoring systems, and data-driven management approaches. The course covers advanced applications such as precision irrigation, plant monitoring, nutrient management, disease management, and practical case studies demonstrating how digital tools and intelligent systems contribute to more efficient, resilient, and sustainable grape production.
