Bio

Mir Hassan is a researcher in the Department of Information Engineering and Computer Science at the University of Trento, Italy. His research focuses on Federated Learning, Distributed Systems, Edge Intelligence, and  Artificial Intelligence for distributed and resource-constrained environments. He works on developing efficient and trustworthy AI systems that balance performance, privacy, and scalability across heterogeneous devices.
He collaborates with international academic and industry partners on projects spanning IoT, 6G, and TinyML, contributing to the advancement of decentralized intelligence and sustainable digital technologies. His work bridges theoretical innovation and real-world deployment in next-generation connected systems.
